"Like its Newtown chapter, this Cornstalk is big on literary obscurity, rarity and individuality... Unlike its sibling store, however, this one concentrates its efforts primarily on Australian titles. Take the time to roam through the shelves. This is a truly marvellous second-hand shopping experience and a must when searching for Australiana. In addition, the shop stocks more than 4000 hardback crime titles and about 1000 antiquarian books. In spite of its cluttered and disorderly appearance, titles are remarkably well catalogued and locating them can be quite easy. If you experience problems, just ask the staff - they are numerous and helpful."

"Best mixed business: Sure Glebe Point Rd doesn't (yet) have the hipster cachet of its near neighbour King St but Lynda and her crew are doing their best to remedy that with the funky, eclectic eruption of style which is 'In Denial'. The shop is a unique space where you can do everything from buy some groovy gear, to get an individually designed tattoo etched on your thigh, to take a DJ course. Growing out of a market stall and heavily influenced by dance culture 'In Denial' is a constantly morphing piece of retail art. Stop by for a viewing sometime."
